My fiance and I have been discussing wedding things lately. We don’t plan to get married until I graduate, but we know all the other details. He has recently expressed a desire to have a barbeque in his parents backyard, since we will have only 10 guests. However, our wedding is planned for early to mid January. And we live in Alaska. his solution to this is to get a big tent like thing, snow blow the lawn, and set up outdoor heaters in the tent so we can all be warm. I want to support his ideas, and that WOULD be really fun if it was feasible, but I don’t know if it is feasible! What do you all think? We can’t really go indoors to eat, because his parents house is too small. We have apartments which barely fit us on our own.
Any ideas how I can either fix this idea, or has this idea worked for anyone else out there?
A backyard barbeque reception? In January? In ALASKA?
